MVTRAC, provider of the leading motor vehicle data network for public and private organizations, today announced it has appointed Recovery Industry veteran Maria Olson of AZ Asset Recovery, LLC as director of its 2010-2011 Advisory Board. In this role, Olson will facilitate communications, events, memberships and other board objectives.
The MVTRAC Advisory Board was established in response to an increasing demand for Recovery Industry guidance in standardization, professionalism and best practices that embrace new technologies and the ever-changing financial services environment. This elite group of thought leaders and tenured professionals in the recovery industry are dedicated to promoting education and awareness about industry changes in compliance, professionalism and technology, including best practices and tips for successfully utilizing ALPR systems. The board also serves as a sounding board for feedback from recovery agents about industry hurdles, needs and challenges, and suggestions for improvements that will strengthen the industry.
In her role as director of the board, Olson will help champion Recovery Industry professionalism to financial services institutions to foster greater credibility, business and trust. According to MVTRAC CEO Scott Jackson, it was Olson’s unique combination of recovery and lending experience that made her the clear candidate for the position, “In addition to running her own successful recovery agency, Maria’s deep industry knowledge stems from her experience with leading auto finance companies such as AmeriCredit. This combination of recovery and lending experience makes her uniquely qualified to lead the MVTRAC Recovery Agency Advisory Board, facilitating better communication between these two industry channels and promoting more successful opportunities for both. It is our goal to make sure the Recovery Industry knows and truly understands, this is a democracy, MVTRAC is a tool and a gift to be harnessed by all industry leaders and trendsetters. I’m confident Maria will be instrumental in prioritizing the ideas of agency owners and managers, and setting the tone for where and when we develop those ideas into reality. The Recovery Industry needs to be empowered, and she’s the best choice for creating that empowerment”.
“I couldn’t be more honored to be chosen and accept this position, and selected for a board backed by MVTRAC and The Intelligent Data Network,” noted Olson. “I look forward to representing the voice of the Recovery Industry and promoting more business, safety and professionalism for agents and agencies nationwide, both of which will benefit the Recovery Industry and the Auto Finance Industry alike.”
