FAIRBURN – One man was shot and killed and another critically wounded early Thursday morning in Clayton County.
The shooting happened at an address on Milam Loop when the two men attempted to repossess a man’s car.
A Clayton County police spokesman said a man came out of the house and fired shots at the two men in their tow truck. The passenger was killed. The driver was taken to Grady Hospital. His condition is not available.
Clayton police later spotted the suspect’s car on the interstate and gave chase but gave up the pursuit due to high speeds and wet road conditions.
Authorities are looking for a grey Mustang with a license plate of AZZ-9191. They have also named 29-year-old Justin Moore as a person of interest in the case.
The names of the victims have not been released
