Cardiac patient assaulted by 15-20 recovery agents
A 38-year-old cardiac patient was roughed by nearly 15-20 recovery agents of a bank after cheques for a car loan had bounced. However, the vehicle in question belonged not to him, but to his brother.
According to an FIR, filed at Goregaon police station on June 4, Krishnachandra Tiwari was driving on Link Road, Goregaon west, when a man on a motorcycle stopped him saying he was a recovery agent from HDFC and has come to repossess the vehicle.
