HIGH POINT — Ten cars were confiscated Thursday from a repo man authorities said was filing false documents with the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Michael Lee Harvell, of High Point, was arrested and charged after DMV authorities and the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department executed search warrants at his Old Mill Road residence and another public storage unit.

Five vehicles were seized at the residence and five at the storage unit.Harvell has been charged with eight counts of obtaining property by false pretense, four counts of filing fictitious titling documents and four counts of misdemeanor receiving property with a securing interest against it.

Harvell was the owner of Repo Busters.
