It took nearly two years, but Robert P. Simeone Jr. and his brother, Michael, say they finally got justice.
The brothers were acquitted of charges stemming from a car repossession case in Abington where, authorities said at the time, one of the brothers had jumped on the hood of a woman’s car.
“It was a relief,” Robert Simeone Jr., 23, of Brockton said.
On April 2, a jury in Brockton District Court acquitted the brothers of three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assault and battery to collect a loan, destruction of property, malicious damage over $250 and assault with a dangerous weapon.
